Following a delayed start, the Lamborghini Super Trofeo race series finally gets underway for its 8th season in North America. The 2020 season kicks off in the heart of Elkhart Lake at Road America. Next on the calendar is a return to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on the Monterey peninsula. Three weeks later the series makes its annual visit to the 3.37 mile road course at Watkins Glen International. Following the action in New York State, Super Trofeo makes its inaugural visit to the legendary Grand Prix street course in St Petersburg, Florida before wrapping up the season with a long anticipated return to Sebring International Raceway.
Super Trofeo once again shares the stage with the IMSA sanctioned WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the preeminent US road racing series. In a first for the series, Super Trofeo will support the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Road America, and for its inaugural visit to St Petersburg, Florida the Huracan Evos will once again share the paddock with the NTT IndyCar Series. Five action packed race weekends as driver and machine race for points and the ultimate prize of the championship title.
